ForthWright Training is a training organisation specialising in Health and Safety for the real world, and we love what we do. Vince Wright set up ForthWright Training in 2004 after working for many years with local colleges and training companies.
His goal was to teach people to have a safe working environment with out blaming “’elf ‘n’ bloomin’ safety” for everything.
The solution was easy, quality, accredited training which started when he became HSE approved to deliver First Aid, and his NEBOSH training did the rest. With good quality resources and a fun atmosphere, this complete Health and Safety anorak enjoys keeping all courses relevant and up to date.

Course duration: 4-6 hours depending on experience
- AED’s – what are they?
- The Chain of Survival
- Basic life support
- Emergency Action Plan
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- The Heart
- Recognition of Angina and Heart Attack
- Safety Considerations and accessories
- Demonstration and practice of using an AED
- Choking
On completion of CPR training, the candidate should be able to demonstrate resuscitation of an adult in cardiac arrest. This should be assessed during or at the end of the training, using a simulated incident and a resuscitation training manikin.
